Oh, fall, how I've grown to love you. Why?

Well food obviously, there is SUCH good produce out at the moment.

Secondly, because it's red wine season. And spiced apple cider season. And co*cktails and cozy comfort dishe season.

Thirdly, because of fall dinner parties. Which incorporates said first and second point above!

But seriously! There is nothing better when it's cold, and rainy outside than to have people over for a cosy meal, put the fire on, crack open a bottle of red, eat, laugh and play games.

If you told me 10 years ago, that at aged 27, I'd be most happy chilling at home being what I used to call 'old', I probably would have laughed in your face!

That's why today on the blog I'm celebrating being an old homebody, chilling at home cooking for my friends with fall recipe ideas for a crowd. This round up brings you some of the best recipes you need for all your fall dinner party plans!

I've included recipes for appetizers, mains, salads, desserts, and of course, my personal favourite - co*ckTAILS! These recipes come from both The Home Cook's Kitchen, and some of my favourite bloggers out there!

Appetizers & Side Dishes

I find appetizers the hardest part of entertaining for friends. It's always a difficult to figure out what the perfect amount of pre-dinner food is. Is there too much, making your guests too full? Not enough so they leave hungry (which in my eyes is a dinner party no, no)?

When I look for apps, I look for recipes that are simple, easy to make and can be made ahead prior to your guests arriving! This is why I am loving these recipes for fall appetizers...
